Honoring Service, Embracing Gratitude

As Veterans Day arrives, we’re reminded of the incredible courage and selflessness shown by the men and women who have served our country. Their willingness to protect and defend others — often at great personal sacrifice — is something that deserves our deepest respect, not just today, but every day.

At Family Chiropractic, we pause to honor every veteran in our community. We’re grateful for the freedom their service makes possible and for the example they set in courage, integrity, and perseverance.

We also take a moment to recognize Dr. Cotey, whose own service to our country

continues in a new form — through his dedication to helping our patients live pain-free, healthy, and empowered lives. The same commitment that defined his military service is evident in the care, focus, and passion he brings to this community each day.

Veterans Day reminds us that gratitude isn’t just an emotion — it’s a practice that can transform the way we live. When we intentionally pause to appreciate the people and blessings in our lives, it changes our mindset, lowers stress, and even improves our physical health.

So this week, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect on what — and who — you’re grateful for. Maybe it’s a friend, a loved one, or even your own body’s ability to heal and grow stronger. Gratitude has a powerful ripple effect — it helps us slow down, breathe deeper, and live more fully.

To all who have served and continue to serve: thank you.

We honor you. We appreciate you.

And we are proud to serve this community in your example — with compassion, dedication, and purpose.

With appreciation and respect,

The Family Chiropractic Team
